Jurist calls on Kobane people to be self-dependent

Mustafa Sheikh Muslim a jurist from the city of Kobane has called on the people of the city not to depend on or to expect anything from the international community regarding the Turkish occupation threats against NES in general and against Kobane in specific.

Mustafa's statement came in an interview with ANHA on the latest threats made by the Turkish occupation state against NES amid an international silence and inactivity from the part of Russian Forces as a guarantor part as well the Syrian government and the U.S. led Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS.

Mustafa says '' the latest attacks carried out by the Turkish occupation state against the city of Kobane via drones targeting civilians are clear breach of the greed upon ceasefire as well to the supposed good neighborly relations that were never observed by Turkey. Turkey violates the integral unity of Syria unjustly''.

Mustafa says Turkey ''aims to untie the social fabric and societal stability observed in Kobane more notably since the city is far away from battle fronts the matter that annoys Turkey for which it seeks to strike at the stability and spread fear''.

''Russia adopts the double standard policy in dealing with the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria. Russia is a guarantor in the ceasefire agreement but it does not play its supposed role that is well seen in the attacks carried out by the Turkish occupation state against North and East Syria to put pressure on the Syrian Democratic Forces, the SDF, to make concessions to the Syrian Regime'', he said.

Mustafa Sheikh Muslim at the end called on the people to be ''patient and to take the side of our military forces and to be vigilant and aware of the plots being hatched against the region for we are just on the brink of the long dreamt aspirations. The international law is subject to decision makers so we cannot expect anything from them. Since the International Court of Justice at the Hague, the United Nations and all other human rights associations were established are all subject to political interests''.
