According to the source, the Turkish occupation intelligence raided the house of Jassem al-Sheikh in the town of Suluk, which belongs to the occupied canton of Girê Spî, and kidnapped him following the raid.

The source noted that Jassem Al-Sheikh (70 years old), from the Arab Tayy clan, lost his sight after Turkey and its mercenaries occupied the Girê Spî canton on October 9th, 2019.

The source pointed out that the Turkish intelligence took him to the branch of the so-called "anti-terrorism" located in the center of the city of Girê Spi.

Kidnappings are repeated against the remaining indigenous residents of the city of Girê Spi/Tel Abyad and its villages who are under Turkish occupation, and the motive behind the kidnapping is often to extort the residents and force them to pay a ransom or money for the release of the kidnapped.
