16 deaths, 317 new cases of corona recorded in NES

Today, Sunday, the Health Authority in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, the AANES, announced the registration of sixteen deaths of people infected with Covid-19 in north and east Syria.

The co-chair of the Health Authority in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria explained that the deaths are man and woman from Hasaka, man and woman from Qamishlo, man from Derik, two men from Kobani, three men, a woman from Raqqa, a man and a woman from Tabqa, a man from Manbij, and two men and a woman from al-Shahba.

He confirmed that they recorded 317 new infections with the Covid-19 virus in the NES regions which are 183 males and 134 females, distributed as follows:

24 cases in Al-Hasakah

29 cases in Qamishlo

16 cases in Dêrik

5 cases in Girkê Legê

8 cases in Amuda

48 cases in Kobani

87 cases in Raqqa

37 cases in Tabqa

43 cases in Manbij

20 cases in Al-Shahba

He added that they recorded ten new cases of recovery.

It is noteworthy that the number of people infected with Corona virus in the regions of north and east Syria reached 33,960, including 1,225 deaths and 2,380 cases of recovery, with the announcement of these new cases.
