Violent battles go on in Avaşîn

The Turkish occupation army began an operation in the Kartal Hill Square in the Avaşîn area, which led to the outbreak of violent battles between it and the Guerilla fighters, and is still ongoing, according to the media center of the Peoples' Defense Forces, the HPG.

Since the 23rd of April, the Turkish occupation state has carried out large-scale attacks against the Medya legitimate defense zones, especially in Metina, Zab and Avaşîn, and due to its inability to advance against the resistance of the HPG's freedom fighters, it ues all kinds of internationally prohibited weapons, especially chemical ones.

In the context of the ongoing battles in Avaşîn, the media center of the HPG issued a statement to the public opinion, which stated:

On October 22, in the early morning, the Turkish occupation army began an operation in the Kartal square in the Avaşîn area, and it became a target for our forces, where violent battles erupted between the Turkish occupation army and our guerrilla forces, which are still ongoing, and detailed information will be shared later.

Since October 19 at 18:00 until October 21, Stûnê and Kartal Square in the Avaşîn area have been bombed, and on October 20 at 18:00, the Turkish occupation army bombed the Resistance Square in Werxilê with explosives.

On October 20, at 20:10, the warplanes of the Turkish occupation army bombed Barbazan and Gosheniye hills in the Xwakurk region.

On October 21, between 18:20 and 21:00, the Turkish occupation army bombed from the border outposts, Werxilê Square and Tal An'n in Avaşîn area, with artillery and mortar shells.

On October 21, at 22:50, the warplanes of the Turkish occupation army bombed Kafiya Square in the Garê region.

On October 20, at 20:10, the Turkish occupation army bombed Barbizinan hill in Koshìîn, in the Khakork region, with warplanes.

On October 21, at between 18:20-21:00, the Turkish occupation army bombed the squares and its hills, Tal Kartel and Tal Lant in the Avaşîn area, with warplanes, artillery and mortar shells, from the border outposts.

On October 21, at 22:50, the Turkish occupation army bombed Kafiya Square, in Garê with warplanes.

On the evening of October 20 and 21, the Turkish occupation army bombed Tall Shahid Dakar and Saida Square in the Zab region. Jamjo squares were also bombed with mortars and artillery from border outposts. At the same time, helicopters circled over these areas.

On October 22, at 09:30, the Turkish occupation army bombed Tel Lant (the Curse) Square of the Afashin district with warplanes.
