Civil society orgs concludes their conference with several recommendations

The coalition of civil society organizations in the north and eastern Syria concluded its constituent conference, after the election of the Administration Body, of 15 members to work to pursue the decisions and proposals issued by the Conference.

On the Conference held today, representatives of 200 civil society organizations in northern and eastern Syria, as well as international destinations and UNESCO and the European Peace Institute (and other organizations participated.

The conference was launched with the Director of Projects in Wa'am (Wa'am), Alan Qataf, who branched the conference and thanked their terms for their efforts to hold a positive impact on regions north and eastern Syria, according to Alan.

Then, a video shot of the Commander-in-Chief of Syria Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, displayed, in which, he said "As we have participated in many civil society events and we will support your projects and are committed to supporting the work of civil society organizations,".

"we are trying today to find solutions to many social issues, because we are in the process of a democratic civil society, and this is one of our new battles today", he added.

"We will work together with civil society organizations, which can contribute to development and construction," Abdi said. "You can play a role in developing Autonomous Administrationn at all levels," Abdi said.

To ensure participation of all communities, seats were allocated based on the number of organizations within the coalition in each geographical area. The Seats of the Board of Directors have allocated the following ratios: (Deir al-Zour 4 seats, Al-Raqqa 4 seats, al-Jazira 4 seats.

During the conference, future visions and visions were discussed and the recommendations, proposals and aspirations of the Board of Directors.

Attendance provided several suggestions for the coalition, including focus on women's participation by 50% in the coalition, as stated in the rules of procedure, and that the north and eastern regions were missing many components after mercenary attacks, his charity and work on and worked.

Participants, the region does not receive the necessary support for environmental, and called on coalition and organizations to be environmental issues, as well as supporting IDP camps and displaced persons in northern and eastern regions, and the alliance is not far from political reality.
