Aldar Khalil’s speech came during his participation in a special program prepared by ANHA agency on the occasion of the 23rd anniversary of the start of the international conspiracy against leader Ocalan, on October 9th, 1998, which continued until his arrest on August 15th, 1999.

Khalil evaluated the international circumstances that preceded and followed the international conspiracy, and the real goals of the conspiring forces against the leader Abdullah Ocalan and the Kurdistan Liberation Movement.

Khalil, in response to a question about the stage in which the conspiracy began and the circumstances it went through, said: "Circumstances were different from what we are experiencing now, especially in the political, regional and international terms."

He continued, "In the seventies, the national liberation movement and built socialism existed, and Marxist ideas dominated the ideas of freedom fighters, and in the eighties a new phase began, in which they evaluated the lived reality, and then the leader issued a pamphlet, criticizing the constructed socialism and analyzed the reality of Marxism and the axis that The Soviet Union represented it, as what was built in the name of socialism and the communist revolution at that time were other aspects of the capitalist system, albeit with different names.

He added, "The leader Abdullah Ocalan sought in the early nineties to develop the thought of the fighter for freedom and democracy and the realization of peoples' freedom, as the leader, the Kurdistan Workers Party and the Freedom Movement depended on Marxist thought and followed his approach to achieve the dream of the Kurdish people, while the leader, through his struggle and its stages. It expressed a strong start in Kurdish society, helped revive Kurdish national thought and roused the feelings of the peoples of the region to struggle for their rights."

Khalil evaluated the period after the collapse of the Soviet Union, but after the nineties and with the collapse of the Soviet Union and the proof of his analyzes (leader Abdullah Ocalan) on socialism, he proved that what was built in the name of socialism and communism was not a path to achieving the hoped-for victories, so the search for a new philosophy began to liberate the Kurdish people and achieve democracy in the region, it started from the 4th congress of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) to its 5th congress and focused on the necessity of making an intellectual and mental transformation.

Aldar Khalil, at the conclusion of his speech, confirmed that the conspirators agreed on one essential point; It is that the leader crossed the lines of the existing system at the time, and presented ideas that transcend Marxism, so they gathered on the idea of getting rid of him before he innovated in his ideas more, and they believed that by capturing the leader they would end this thought. But unless it was taken into account that the leader exploited the conditions of captivity and deepened his ideas and visions about freedom and democracy, that is, he resorted to struggle in a way of his own, and extracted new ideas that united them with what he practiced in practical life before his arrest.

Aldar Khalil said: "In his imprisonment, the leader was able to communicate with various peoples around the world, through his pleadings and conveying his ideas to them."

On October 9th, 2019, Turkey and its mercenaries launched an attack on northern and eastern Syria, and occupied the cities of Ras al-Ain and Tal Abyed. Aldar Khalil emphasized on this issue that the conspiracy against peoples yearning for freedom is still going on, but they renew it in different ways.

He continued: "In NE, Syria, all components united their strength under the Autonomous Administration, which is a reflection of the philosophy of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and was able to establish their own system, but Turkey and its allies found in this a threat to their existence, that is, a threat to the idea of the nation-state, Therefore, they seek to strike at the democratic project."

Regarding the agreement signed by the governments of Baghdad and Hewler, led by the Kurdistan Democratic Party, PDK, to strike the will of the Yazidi community in Shengal, Aldar Khalil said: "The agreement was signed at Turkish insistence, because it sees that Shengal has turned into a base for spreading Ocalan's ideas."

Khalil pointed out the apprehension of the dominant forces about the development of free thought, "They fear the development of free thought among the Yazidi community, as they betrayed Shengal and left him facing death, so the idea of establishing resistance and struggle in the minds of the people of Shengal constitutes a great fear for them."

Khalil pointed out that Turkey is the main driver behind the agreement against the Shengal administration, "they did not find an opportunity to attack directly, so they found that they had to unite their efforts to plot against Shengal, and benefited from the Kurdish identity of Hewler and the international representation of Iraq, and Turkey was able to combine the two to implement its plans."

Khalil concluded, "(Turkey) insisted that it be in the timing of the agreement in order to convey a different idea of what the peoples are calling for, that the freedom of leader Ocalan is their freedom. It wants to say, "Your extermination is in memory of the conspiracy against Ocalan."
