Thousands people demand freedom for Ocalan

 As part of a series of events organized to denounce the international conspiracy that began on October 9, 1998, and targeted the Kurdish and all the peoples of the Middle East in the person of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, thousands of residents of the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods demonstrated today in the city of Aleppo.

 The demonstrators gathered in front of the meeting hall located in the western part of Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood, carrying pictures of the leader of the Kurdish people, Abdullah Ocalan, and Kurdish flags and symbols.

 The demonstration began chanting slogans that salute Imrali's resistance and calls for freedom for leader Abdullah Ocalan, as well as holding all those involved in the conspiracy accountable.

 After the demonstrators arrived at the roundabout of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, located in Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood, they held a minute of silence, followed by two speeches in Arabic and Kurdish by each of the administrator in the Leader’s Freedom Committee, Abdullah Ocalan Amna Khadro and a member of the General Council of the party  Democratic Union Amin Aliko.

 At the beginning, the two words indicated that Turkey ignored all legal and humanitarian standards in dealing with the file of the freedom of leader Ocalan, whom they described as the leader of humanity.

 The two words continued by emphasizing that the will and struggle will continue until the leader attains his freedom, noting that the peoples' duty is to return the leader's favor with all the strength given to them to deliver the voice of truth to all the arenas of the world and demand the long-awaited freedom.

 The two words considered the ninth of October a day of sadness for all peoples who yearn for freedom, because it is the day the conspiracy against them began, and the day of the occupation of Serêkaniyê at the same time by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries.

 The two words ended by renewing the covenant that the struggle must be escalated by all segments of society to turn the occupiers back on their heels and liberate the leader from Imrali.
