Civilian injured by Turkish gendarmerie west Kobani

Yesterday, the Turkish gendarmerie targeted a farmer, west of Kobani, with bullets, as a result of which he was wounded, and he was subsequently transferred to a hospital in the city for receiving medical treatment.

The citizen Mohammed Ahmed Sheikho, aged 55 years, from Saftek village, west of Kobani city, was hit by bullet from a Turkish occupation post on the border between Rojava and Bakur Kurdistan, while he was working in his orchard in front of his house near the border.

Citizen Mohamed Ahmed Sheikho was immediately taken to Kobani Hospital for removing the bullet from his body, while he is still lying in the hospital waiting for his health to stable.

In a special statement to ANHA agency, the injured citizen Mohammad Ahmed Sheikho, said, "This is not the first time that the Turkish gendarmerie has targeted us to intimidate us, it is daily that we have been harassed by them, but we have become aware of the plans of the occupying state."

He added, "All I did was water a gardener, and it seems that my work disturbed the Turkish gendarmerie, so they shot me, but I survived their bullets."

In the recent period, the Turkish occupation state intensified its attacks on the region, including the city of Kobani and its countryside, sometimes bombing civilian cars with UAVs, and sometimes targeting civilians near the border with live bullets from inside the territory of Bakur Kurdistan.
