KCK: Assassination of Comrade Yassin Bulut is part of the policy of genocide of the Turkish state

The co- chairmanship of the Executive Council of the Kurdistan Communities Union (KCK) issued a statement on the murder of Yassin Bulut (Shukri Sarhad), member of the Committee for Solidarity with the Families of Martyrs of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), on Friday in Sulaymaniyah as a result of the Turkish fascist state intelligence attack.

The statement reads:

"Our comrade Shukri Sarhad, who devoted his entire life to the struggle for freedom and was an activist in the Council of Martyrs' Families, was assassinated in Sulaymaniyah by members of the Turkish MIT service. We remember our comrade who was martyred, with gratitude and respect, and promise that all those who ordered and carried out the assassination will be punished.

A Kurdish citizen living in Southern Kurdistan because of fascist repression in Turkey was attacked and seriously wounded in Sulaymaniyah days ago. There is also talk of the assassination of a former Peshmerga fighter who had taken a clear stand against occupation by intelligence services. All this shows that the intelligence service is very organized in Southern Kurdistan, capable of carrying out such attacks in the future. "

The attacks are part of the mass extermination policy targeting the Kurds' patriots.
 

The statement noted that these attacks were part of the group's extermination policy targeting the Kurd patriots. It says: "All these attacks on the Kurdish Freedom Movement and the Kurd patriots are aimed at genocide. The attack on Comrade Shukri was also carried out as part of this policy. These assassinations occur for the same reason that tyranny and repression prevail in Northern Kurdistan, occupation and massacres are part of daily life in Rojava, and attacks on Shengal and Makhmur occur regularly.

All these attacks by the Turkish state are carried out with great brutality. The reason for this is that the Turkish state sees its entire existence as contingent on the execution of the Kurd genocide. The government of the AKP and the Nationalist Fascist Movement also believe that crushing the Kurdish Freedom Movement - the biggest obstacle to the execution of the Kurd genocide - is the only way to remain in power. We are therefore dealing with a Government whose existence depends on the suppression of the Kurdish people's struggle for freedom and the genocide of the Kurd.

The statement added: "The genocide and colonial State offers its services to Europe and the United States, to obtain their assistance in support of genocide policies. By supporting the extermination of the Kurdish Freedom Movement and the genocide of Kurds, Europe and the United States use Turkey according to their own interests in the Middle East and other regions. Thus, the United States and Europe are jointly responsible for all Turkish state attacks. In order to hide their support for these dirty policies and attacks, they call from time to time for the need to avoid targeting civilians. Such statements only encourage the AKP government and the Nationalist Fascist Movement party to continue the Kurd genocide.

According to the statement of the KCK, keeping silent about the killing and extermination of Kurds means that all free Kurds are held guilty. He said: "The Turkish state speaks publicly about the murder and extermination of all Kurds, politicians around the world and advocates of freedom. It therefore attacks rebels and free-minded politicians everywhere who resist genocide to remain silent in the face of these attacks is to regard all free Kurds as guilty and to justify all acts of those responsible for this policy of genocide. At the same time, everyone must realize that the Kurdish freedom movement and the Kurds are fighting the most legitimate struggle in the world. The Kurdish people have the right to struggle against colonialism and genocide everywhere. Thus, not only is all the forces of genocide and colonialism the goal of the PKK-led freedom struggle, but all the Kurds and revolutionary democratic forces. The government of the Justice and Development Party (AKP) and the party of the fascist nationalist movement, the intelligence and military forces that lead it, and the collaborators who serve it - are all guilty. Decisive action must be taken against all of them. "

Where there's Kurd, there's PKK.

The statement stressed that the PKK are present in everyplace in which the Kurds exist, who supported leader Ocalan's ideas could not be required to live only in certain places: "Wherever there is a Kurd, there is a PKK. No one can ask those who support leader Abdullah Ocalan's ideas to allow them to live only in certain places. Of course, the Kurds accept the ideas of a wise man, a thinker and a politician unique in Kurdish history. Only fascists and enemies of free thought and supporters of the Kurd genocide can protest it. Where the Kurd is, leader Ocalan's thoughts will also be present, attacking people who defend these ideas amounts to nothing but hostility towards the Kurd. Because the AKP government and the Nationalist Movement Party are an enemy of all Kurds, they attack Northern Kurdistan, Rojava, Southern Kurdistan, Sinjar and everywhere where Kurds are. The attack on friends, Sakina, Fidan and Leyla, in Paris - in the heart of Europe - was also a result of this mindset. "

Turkish State does not consider any international law in its attacks.

"The Turkish State does not take into account any international law or customs in its attacks. They kill civilians, bomb hospitals, set fire to forests and use chemical weapons. All these human rights crimes must be brought before the Human Rights Court. If there is still such thing as human rights, law, democracy, conscience and morality in this world, the Turkish state must be tried.

Any cadre or supporter of PKK must be defended in such situations as the response to annihilation
 

The statement noted that the people and political forces in Southern Kurdistan, especially the Sulaymaniyah people, openly embraced Rafiq Shukri as Kurdish and figure patriotism. It said, "This must serve as a model for any situation against ongoing attacks. Wherever a Kurdish is assassinated who supports the ideas of leader Ocalan, any cadre or a supporter of the PKK, he must be publicly defended. This is the most appropriate response to the genocide State. Such attacks can only be prevented with the help of such a national position. In the spirit of Kurdish national unity, a position must be drawn against the government of the AKP and the Party of the Fascist Nationalist Movement, making it impossible for the intelligence and military forces of the AKP fascists and the Nationalist Movement Party to be in southern Kurdistan or any other part of Kurdistan. The forces of genocide and cooperation - those enemies of the Kurdish people - must therefore be eliminated.
