Kurdish politicians call PDK a new name: Ottoman Erdogan Democratic Party

The head of the Kurdistan Republican Party Office in Hasakah, Mohammad Ahmed, confirms that Southern Kurdistan is witnessing an attempt by "a client party and a traitor to the Kurdish people, which only represents the interests of the ruling groups in Kurdistan represented by the Kurdistan Democratic Party, to fight the ideology of the Kurdistan Freedom Movement, which represents the Kurdish nation with its morals and embodies its aspirations."

He said, "The betrayal of the KDP will lead to its destruction, and ultimately to all those who work for those agendas will lead to annihilation."

He pointed out that the policies of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, represented in its loyalty to the Ottoman Turkish occupation, is evidence of its great betrayal of the entire Kurdistan people, especially the people of Southern Kurdistan.

He warned the people of Southern Kurdistan that all the gains made through sacrifices will be lost "as a result of the foolish policies pursued by Masoud Barzani and his PDK party."

In the same context, member of the Democratic Union Party Council, Abdul Ghani Oso, confirmed that the policies pursued by the Kurdistan Democratic Party "indicate that it follows external instructions and does not have any goal they aspire to serve the Kurds, but on the contrary, it works to betray the Kurds."

He said: "We all know that the Kurdistan Democratic Party deals with the enemies of the Kurdish people, and they commit massacres and violations against their people on a daily basis, and the party's relations based on the occupation of Kurdistan and the genocide of the Kurds continue to this day, to serve the agendas and interests of those parties."

On the participation of the Kurdistan Democratic Party alongside the Turkish occupation in attacking the legitimate defense areas, the politician Mohammad Ahmed said: "The formation of militias belonging to the PDK, or the Ottoman Erdogan Democratic Party, with Turkish training under Kurdish names, comes to fight the People 's Defense Forces, HPG, in the legitimate defense areas."

The forces of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (PDK) attacked a group of 7 fighters of the HPG, which resulted in their martyrdom, according to a statement published by the HPG Media Center, on the fourth of September.

Ahmed added: "The Democratic Party's response to the policy of the Turkish occupation by forming these militias is nothing but treachery, and further evidence of its survival in the quagmire of treachery that the party has entered."

On his part, Abdul Ghani Oso, politician, pointed out that instead of the PDK dealing with the Kurdish forces and their parties, and establishing a unified military force to fight the occupation and the enemies of the Kurds, "it works day and night to eradicate the presence of the Kurds through the forces it formed."

People of Southern Kurdistan (Başûr) must expose the policies of the 'PDK'

Kurdish politicians called on the Kurdish political parties in Southern Kurdistan to expose the policies of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, and specifically what the Barzani family is seeking.

They called on the parties themselves and the general Kurdish people to go out in mass demonstrations and sit-ins in front of the United Nations and international organizations to denounce these fascist policies.

Since 1983, the Kurdistan Democratic Party has participated in the fight against People's Defense fighters in the legitimate "Guerilla" defense areas, through Turkish military and intelligence formations with Kurdish names.
