Myriad crimes in occupied Afrin still continue

Horrible crimes had been committed in occupied Afrin since its occupation by Turkish state, which have increased in frequency during the past few weeks, and have targeted Kurdish citizens by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries, at a time when the voices of the Kurdish National Council have risen, calling for Afrin IDPs to and accept the current situation, which consolidates the occupation through the construction of settlements for the indigenous population, the settlement of mercenaries and their families in the homes of the indigenous people, and the theft of their property and extortion, to take the financial ransom, after a series of psychological and physical torture methods.

These crimes included kidnappings of citizens motivated by greed and asking for ransom, in addition to confiscating the properties and homes of the displaced indigenous people, who are still in Afrin, and disposing of them by buying and selling. Not to mention the cutting of hundreds of olive trees, and hundreds also being burned by mercenaries and settlers, in addition to building settlements with the support of extremist Brotherhood associations, and opening schools to graduate a generation of extremists.

Myriad crimes in Afrin are still continuing without deterring by international society that give Turkey the green light in committing horrible crimes.

The property of the people of Afrin who were forcibly displaced has become a source of material gain for mercenaries, especially with the increase in the number of settlers in various areas of Afrin, and forcing the indigenous people to leave their homes and live in the settlements built by mercenaries, with the support of some Brotherhood Associations.

The activists documented that the settler called Mohammad Musa sold seven apartments in one building under construction (Ala Al-Adm) in the Ashrafieh neighborhood in the occupied city of Afrin, next to the Al-Hakim building, and owned by the Kurdish contractor Abdul Rahman Khoja from the village of Aranda, and each house was sold at a price of (800) dollars.

Also, a mercenary from the "Ahrar al-Sharqiya" faction, classified on terrorist lists, sold a house belonging to the Kurdish citizen Ahmed Khalil, from the village of Damlia, to a settler from Idlib, for a sum of (1,400) US dollars. The house is located in the Mahmudiya neighborhood of Afrin, in the vicinity of Tishreen school.

Imposing the demographic change

In a bid to consolidate the occupation, the mercenaries, with the support of some Qatari and Kuwaiti Brotherhood associations, built a settlement they called “Kuwait al-Rahm” and forced the indigenous people to evacuate their homes and live in those settlements, in flagrant violation of all moral and humanitarian standards, so that the citizen became the native lives in a settlement, and the settler lives in the homes of the natives.

The mercenaries also opened two schools affiliated with the Brotherhood's Beyaz Eller Association, with the aim of graduating a generation of extremists to serve their future projects and ensure their sustainability.
