Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that two Turkish occupation soldiers were killed and four others were wounded when an explosive device exploded, targeting a vehicle belonging to them on the Idlib – Bininish road, north of Idlib governorate, amid information about a third death.

The observatory indicated that a group calling itself the "Ansar Brigade of Abu Bakr al-Siddiq" claimed the attack.

This group appeared at the end of 2020, when it adopted a car bomb attack, targeting the Turkish occupation forces in Idlib, and says that it is not affiliated with any internal or external party.
