The Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria ( Asayiş) announced, through a statement published today, on their official website; The arrest of a leader of ISIS cells in Deir ez-Zor, with the participation of the Global Coalition.

The statement, published today, said, "In continuation of the work of our special units of HAT in eliminating terrorist acts and pursuing their members, a suspect was found in the town of Al-Izba in the eastern countryside of Deir Ez

-zor, after monitoring and investigation operations and gathering evidence and confirming his involvement in financing criminal gangs, planting mines and targeting civilians and military personnel."

The statement confirmed that the mercenary was arrested in a tight ambush of the Special Forces (HAT) with the participation of the Global Coalition through air surveillance, adding that a group of weapons, mine-making equipment and documents proving his affiliation with ISIS were seized.

According to the statement, the mercenary confessed to committing many terrorist operations and running sleeper cells funded by foreign agendas.
