579 Turkish occupation soldiers killed during 4 months of resistance

On April 23^rd, 2021, the Turkish occupation army launched intensive attacks on the mountains of Zap, Avaşîn, Metîna, in response to these attacks, the People Defence Forces' fighters, Free Women's Units- Star a revolutionary campaign, Khabour Resistance, and Zagros Hawks, in the spirit of resistance, the fighters inflicted heavy losses on the Turkish occupation's ranks.

According to official data provided by the People's Defence Forces, the HPG, the Turkish occupation army carried out daily attacks on the Kurdistan Mountains from 23^rd April to 23^rd August, but did not make any progress, thus resorting to the use of toxic and internationally banned gases against the Guerilla Forces during 132 attacks within 4 months.

During the four months, Guerilla Fighters carried out 458 operations against the Turkish occupation army during the revolutionary campaign of the battles of Khabour and the Zagros, resulting in Killing of 579 and wounding 81.

Guerilla Fighters also targeted 4 military vehicles, 2 UAVs, 7 surveillance cameras, 3 bulldozers and 2 helicopters, shot down 6 UAVs and damaged 6 helicopters.

According to the results of the operations carried out by the HPG during 4 months, in which the Turkish occupation suffered heavy losses

According to the results disclosed by the People's Defense Forces, 70 fighters of the Guerilla Forces were martyred during 4 months of resistance.

Turkish occupation army continues to launch its attacks until now, amid resistance from by HPG's Forces and the Free Women's Units - Star.
