PYD holds symposium under slogan

Democratic Union Party (PYD) in Raqqa organized a seminar entitled " Turkey is a gang state... Human rights and Abdullah Ocalan" at the Legislative Council building.

The symposium was attended by a number of party members, jurists, members of the Leader's Committee, politicians, intellectuals, sheikhs and clan dignitaries from Raqqa and its countryside.

The symposium began with the presentation of the lawyer Abdullah Al-Arian, the first axis in which he spoke about Turkey and its colonial ambitions in the region, and the policies it pursued in the Middle East in order to restore the ambitions of the Ottoman Sultanate.

Al-Arian explained, "The Turkish state has been a gang state since time immemorial. It interferes in every region in the Middle East through gang-like groups, working on robbery, looting, kidnapping and other crimes, through which it seeks to occupy or control any country, through these groups".

He noted the need for the parties to expose and defame these practices at all levels, and expose them to all groups and components in order to know the policy and ambitions of the Turkish state.

The jurist and member of the Leader's Committee, Mohammad Al-Obaid, delivered the second axis, in which he addressed the topics of human rights and freedom of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and pointed out the importance of working with human rights laws, and respecting them is a duty of every country and region.

He described the arrest of the leader, Abdullah Ocalan, as inhuman, as the leader represents a people's revolution and demands his rights, indicating that his arrest in the manner that took place in 1999 is not called arrest; But kidnapped.
