Hasakah intellectuals held interactive symposium to close perspectives politically

Fifty-seven intellectuals from various cultural federations, political parties and independents, participated in the dialogue with a view to bringing perspectives closer to the political and cultural realities of the region.

The symposium began with a minute of silence, followed by an explanation of the first axis by the co-chairmanship of the Syrian Democratic Council, Amina Omar, who said at the beginning: "The dialogue with the Syrian government is completely stalled and not sporadic because the Syrian government is not aware of any solution to the Syrian crisis."

Amina Omar added: "In the statements of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, there was indeed something new, focusing on two points; It cannot go back to before 2011 and is a positive point, and the other point is decentralized governance. "

Amina Omar continued: "We look politically at these statements, and if we return to dialogue with the Syrian Government again, it will be on the basis of those two points."
Amina Omar pointed out that the strategy of the Syrian Democratic Council is clear: the real Syrian-Syrian solution and the opening of multiple channels of dialogue.

Amina stressed that the Turkish attacks were not new despite the existence of agreements to stop them, but recently there had been a serious escalation against AANES' project, as well as an increase in the targeting of health staff and security posts.

Amina pointed out that there was international silence, particularly from the guarantors, and it required the American Government to break its silence and not just to worry.

Finally, Amina explained: "The Kurdish dialogue was interrupted by regional interventions, especially Turkey. After the return of the American Ambassador, the dialogue returned, but in this case the dialogue will not be easy and smooth. There are no tangible results, even though the Commander - in - Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, is determined to achieve Kurdish unity, but Turkey is impeding Kurdish dialogue."
