Turkey escalates its attacks in multiple ways to exterminate Kurds

Turkey has intensified its attacks on several Kurdish areas and by various means, in an effort to end the presence of the Kurdish people, whether in Bakûr, Başûr or Rojava.

Starting from the attacks on the legitimate defense areas (Medya) in Başûr Kurdistan to attacks on the regions of northeast Syria, not to mention the severe isolation imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan, who is at the center of the attacks on the Kurds and Kurdistan, in addition to targeting Kurdish politicians and parliamentarians in Bakûr Kurdistan and Turkey, Kurdistan regions witness several brutal attacks by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries.

Turkey is not content with waging a military war against the Kurds, but also a very fierce private war against in the four parts of Kurdistan by targeting society, targeting the youth and women in particular.

Whatever the means of attacks and the target, regardless of place and time, the goal is the same, which is to exterminate the Kurdish people and erase the map of Kurdistan; And if not in the red war, it will be in the white war.

On the attacks of the Turkish occupation state on the regions of Kurdistan, their aim and repercussions, the co-chair of the Council of the Democratic Society Movement in the Euphrates region Osman Khalaf said that "the attacks on the regions of Kurdistan in general and north and east Syria in particular target the democratic nation's project of the Autonomous Administration in north and east Syria for sowing fear and sedition among the components of the region who apply the concept of a democratic nation with coexistence and brotherhood of peoples.

Osman Khalaf added, "What is happening now in terms of the escalation of attacks on the northern and eastern regions of Syria in particular by the Turkish occupation is the exploitation of the world's preoccupation with the situation in Afghanistan in an attempt to occupy more Syrian lands."

Khalaf said that "the global silence towards the Turkish attacks, and in particular the America, shows that behind this silence is the common interests of the dominant countries."

The genocide of the Kurds is the key to the continuation of the fascist Turkish authority

Osman Khalaf pointed out that "the Turkish state seeks to exterminate the Kurdish people, starting with the strict isolation imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan to prevent leader's thoughts and directives to spread, because they put a solution to the crises in the Middle East, and this is what hegemony and capitalism, countries do not want, especially Turkey.

He added, "In another attempt to exterminate the Kurdish people, Turkey seeks to annihilate the political center in Bakur Kurdistan and Turkey by arresting members of the Peoples' Democratic Party and Kurdish parliamentarians after lifting their immunity, and this is clear evidence that this party is a social party, and it has gained confidence from society and works according to the horizon of democracy." This is what Turkey fears and poses a threat to the continuation of its fascist rule, which Turkey did not expect since the beginning of the party’s establishment.

According to Osman, besides annihilating the resistant political center, Turkey aims hard to annihilate the military forces of resistance in the face of that fascist ruling authority in Bakûr Kurdistan and Turkey, attacking the Kurdistan Freedom Movement in the mountains of Kurdistan, but it is defeated after faced the fierce resistance of the guerrilla over and over.

Osman Khalaf believes that in general, Turkey is working hard to turn attention from the accumulated, potentially explosive economic and political problems inside the country. Starting from the fires that devoured large areas of Turkey’s forests and the floods that caused great human and material losses, to the deteriorating economic conditions in the country and the depreciation of the Turkish lira against the US dollar, in order to divert attention outside the country and preoccupation with internal public opinion with attacks outside the country away from internal problems.

'The Kurdish people should be aware of the enemy's plans'

Khalaf stresses that the Turkish attacks do not target the Kurdistan freedom movement only, but also the Kurdish people everywhere.

He added, "The people of Başûr Kurdistan must realize this danger to them. If Turkey was able to liquidate the Kurdistan freedom movement, it would work to liquidate the Kurdistan Democratic Party. Its intentions became clear during the Kurdistan Regional Government's attempt to obtain independence; then, the Turkish government completely opposed that, it would not have been like declaring war on the state of Iraq if that was done."

The co-chair of the Council of the Democratic Society Movement in the Euphrates region stressed the Kurdish people in the four parts of Kurdistan should to be aware of the plans of the occupying Turkish state aimed at annihilating the Kurds everywhere, and to work in what serves the interests of the Kurdish people and the Kurdish cause and not to be drawn into the machinations of the enemy and knowing that if they can The enemy will liquidate a part or a force from Kurdistan, so its role will come after that and the role of its other Kurdish brother until the final extermination of the Kurds, and this is what the people must be aware of and struggle to thwart.”
