Duran Kalkan: AA will make Syria a model for a solution in the region

Duran Kalkan, member of the Leadership Committee of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), confirmed during a "special program" on the (Medya Haber) channel, that the Kurdistan liberation movement entered a new phase with a stronger force in the 38th year of the glorious August 15^th launch.

Guerilla operations in commemoration of August 15^th left their mark on the stage

Duran Kalkan explained that through the campaign for the release of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, they reached a high level, and said: "The thing that put his mark on this high level, is the operations of the Guerilla forces in commemoration of the 37th anniversary of the August 15^th leap. This was the main, clear and most important thing; there were operations everywhere, not only in the legitimate defense areas that they were trying to occupy, but throughout Northern Kurdistan, Kafr, Botan, Sarhad, Dersim, Amed, and painful blows were dealt to the enemy.”

Kalkan pointed out that these Guerrilla operations showed everyone that the 38th year of the August 15 Leap will be a year to escalate the struggle and achieve victory.

The new stage of operations

Member of the Leadership Committee of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), Duran Kalkan, stated that the resistance has been going on in the Zab, Metina and Avashin regions since last April 23^rd, and said: "Besides Haftanin and Khakurk, of course, from Khakurk to Kafr Shamzinan, there were effective operations, There will be stronger operations, the stage before us will witness stronger operations from the military point of view, and we are establishing this stage with strong operations by the Guerrilla forces to deal painful blows to the fascist government of the Justice and Development Party and the National Movement, in this way we will proceed with the stage.”

Kalkan stressed that the Guerilla fighters have acquired all those experiences and expertise that would defeat the enemy and deter it from its occupation plans, and removed all difficulties through them; Referring to the success of the Guerilla forces in thwarting the enemy's plans to a high degree.

There is no doubt that the enemy will be defeated, unless the KDP plays a negative, complicit role

Kalkan stated that the Guerilla fighters will expand the scope of their operations and said: "Of course, the Guerilla forces have sufficient ability to defeat the Turkish aggression on Southern Kurdistan, if the KDP does not play a negative, complicit role, as the danger and threats still exist on that front, due to The irresponsible positions of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.

PKK will remain with the Yazidi people

Duran Kalkan continued his speech, referring to the attacks of the Turkish occupation army on Shengal, and said: "The fascism of the Justice and Development Party and the National Movement has taken this as a tradition for itself, attacking Shengal on every anniversary of the August 15^th Leap."

Kalkan described the latest attack as brutal, and said: "The hospital was targeted. Shengal has nothing to do with the borders of Turkey, and it is in a location that has nothing to do with the administration of the Turkish state. In Shengal, the Yazidi people are subjected to a brutal attack and in front of the world's eyes, where the last attack targeted the hospital, and before that, the will of Shengal was targeted, the hero, Saeed Hassan, was assassinated, and he was the one who worked with Mam Zaki a lot, and had a great role in confronting the terrorist organization ISIS, as well as in establishing the Democratic Autonomous Administration on the basis of free will. He was a true leader and representative of the will of the Yazidi people in Shengal. It represents the society and DAA; these attacks were carried out in a deliberate and planned manner, and the martyr Saeed Hassan became the martyr of the fifteenth of August like Mam Zaki Shankali, and in the name of the leadership of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, remembered this great martyr with all appreciation and respect and offered his deepest condolences to his family and relatives, and I share our people’s aches and pains We repeat and always emphasize that the PKK and the general Kurdish people stand with our Yazidi people, and take their free will as a basis, and without any conditions they will support the free will of the Yazidi people. Therefore, there is no force that can force a retreat on the PKK and the Kurdish people.

Kalkan stated that the truth of the PKK's ideology was clarified once again, and said: "The Kurdish Yazidis in Shengal and the people of Sengal must be free on the basis of DAA, and they must be at that level to be able to manage themselves and defend themselves, if there is no such thing, What will happen...?There will be massacres as happened on August 16 and 17, explaining this thing, some say you should dissolve your administration and your forces, why would they do this...?Is it for the Turkish state to attack, kill and destroy them...! That...? It was said that there is no need for that, where are those who say that it is not necessary, when the Turkish occupation bombed the hospital, where were these people, and what did they do about it...? Is there an Iraqi state in reality...? And is there an administration in Baghdad...? This has become a subject of discussion, and if it exists, where is it...? Those who talk like this and attack the Yazidis all the time, where were they when the Turkish occupation bombed the Sakina Hospital and when the leader and diplomat assassinated the Yazidi people...? How can the Yazidi people believe these...? How can they believe their words...? The situation is clear before the eyes, that everything is for the sake of plans and interests, we can say that each person moves according to his interests, well, we also strive for that, everything is clear, we do not want to go into what others are doing, but the basic question should be: What are we are they doing? And work..?".

Duran Kalkan pointed out that we must understand the current events correctly, and said: “We must realize that we are able to achieve victory through resistance and struggle. Because we are a force on earth and we are able to defend ourselves."

Kalkan also stressed that the events that took place had a great impact on us, and lessons must be learned from them. He said: "We must organize ourselves properly and unite in a spirit of unity in order to preserve the memory of Mam Zaki and the martyr Hassan. We will avenge them and all our martyrs at every stage of our struggle."

On the statements of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on the decentralization administration

Member of the Leadership Committee of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) Duran Kalkan concluded his speech by evaluating the statements of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad about the need for a decentralization administration in Syria, and stated that they have followed Bashar al-Assad’s statements through the media, which are very important and meaningful, and said: “Since the establishment of the republic There was no centralization in Syria, but rather it consisted of regional administrations. The establishment of such a central government in Syria was geographically and socially impossible, and the cultural diversity was remarkable, and one could say that the imposition of a central government brought Syria into the 10-year war, and this It leads to its division, the decentralization administration and Autonomous Administration will ensure the unity of Syria, from the political point of view, decentralization administration is a correct approach and leads to the development of society, why...?Because everyone can express themselves freely, and lead themselves, and then they will be able to unite the Syrian ranks and if they manage to establish their own administration amid this support, then this administration will become supportive of Syria and no one will be able to stand in front of it, and Syria will not move towards partition, so why are the people against the Syrian administration now...? We must clarify it, because there are many religious, national and ethnic groups, there are Kurds in particular and communities of different peoples. Autonomous administration is certainly important. We are all aware that Syrian society contains different sects, and many cities and regions have been established. We know that there were local administrations previously.”

As Duran Kalkan explained that there was no central administration before as there is now, he said, “We hope to evaluate all these things, there is no solution other than this, the war has reached a dangerous level, so a solution must be found immediately, and if it is not, it is too late, then we will lose opportunities for a solution. We hope that this will be achieved and find quick solutions, to limit the aggravation of the war, and move towards a stable country, in which security and peace prevail.

In his turn, Duran Kalkan stressed that the establishment of a democratic Syria, local and regional administrations, and the protection of the Autonomous Administration is very important, and said: "This approach will make Syria a model for a solution in the region, which will preserve the unity of the Syrian territories and components on the one hand, and on the other hand it will be a model for the solution, leading and strengthening it."
