Yesterday, Tuesday, Zarkan district witnessed violent attacks by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries.

The official spokesman of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Aram Hanna, indicated in a statement to ANHA agency that the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries escalated the pace of their attacks on northern Syria, starting from Al-Shahba areas in the countryside of Aleppo, all the way to Tal Tamr and Zarkan in Al-Hasakah countryside. After the defeat of the terrorist organization ISIS, in addition to hitting the efforts of the Autonomous Administration to obtain official recognition of the AANES and its forces, especially after it opened a representative in Switzerland.

Hanna added: "In the past days, we have witnessed violent attacks on the northern and eastern axis of Tel Tamer, in addition to targeting the Zarkan district and the city center, which caused loss of life and property and material destruction. Through our military formations, we took defensive measures to protect civilians, within the framework of legitimate defense."

Hanna offered condolences to the families of the victims and condemned the international silence and the "shameful" silence of the guarantor forces, and said: "These Turkish violations will negatively affect our efforts to fight terrorism and protect prisons that house ISIS fighters."

The silence of the international community makes them accomplices in Turkish crimes

Hanna continued his speech by denouncing the international community silence regarding Turkish crimes against the peoples of the region, dubbing them as "very shameful, and supporting these violations." .

At the end of his speech, Hanna called on the international community to work seriously to stop these crimes, and demanded to complete its step in imposing sanctions on mercenaries loyal to the Turkish occupation and exposing their practices.
