Turkish forces increase bases in Ain Issa and Gire Spi

After both Sere Kaniye and Gire Spi were both occupied by Turkish occupation forces increased setting up military bases in the region as well on the strategically important M4 Aleppo-Hasaka highway causing widespread displacement after houses and whole villages were turned into military bases and bermed making newly -made artificial borders.

ANHA monitored intense moves in those areas coincided with bringing in heavy weapons.

Already there were five military bases made by Turkish occupation forces in northern Ain Issa District and the western side of Gire Spi /Tal Abyad all were monitored by ANHA but the number has surpassed five reaching 12 ones all located on the M4 stretching from northern Ain Issa and western part of Gire Spi home to heavy weapons as well Turkish forces and mercenaries. These base are provided with surveillance cameras, radars working as bases for undertaking aggressions against civilians and shelling on the region the last of which the Sefawaiye massacre that claimed lives of four members in a single family in eastern Ain Issa. Shelling that caused the Sefawiye massacre was conducted from the Bir Is military base. 

Targets by the Turkish occupation forces and the affiliated mercenary groups against Ain Issa and Gire Spi as well the M4 as documented by military sources from 1 June 2020 up to 4 August 2021 stands at 634 mostly targeting civilians directly.
