Hassan referred to the history of the Kurdish people uprisings, that did not last for long and did not achieve any victories, and continued, saying: "This movement that was launched under the leadership of Leader Apo was distinguished and differed from the rest of the other clan and tribal uprisings. With the launch of the first bullet, it escalated the freedom movement was part of the resistance, and it fought against the fascist mentality. The leader Apo pointed out the necessity of escalating the struggle for the freedom of the Kurdish people. The August 15 resistance awakened the Kurdish people from a state of slumber, and was an important factor for the escalation of the freedom struggle in all parts of Kurdistan.

'The Rojava revolution is an extension of the August 15th leap'

Sheikhmus Hassan noted that the first seeds of the Rojava revolution were laid since the August 15 leap, and added: "The bullet that was fired in Shmizinan, reverberated today in the war against ISIS mercenaries. The Rojava revolution is an extension of the August 15 leap. This revolution was achieved thanks to this Historic step.  Asma Murad said that no one expected the PKK in that period to achieve all these victories, and continued her speech by saying: "previously, all the Kurdish movements were crushed, and their leaders were killed."

Asma noted that the Kurdish people were also subjected to oppression and persecution during the Rojava revolution, and added in this regard: "In the face of this, many university students joined the guerrilla forces, believing in the August 15 revolution, and participated in the struggle for the freedom of the Kurdish people.  I started the armed struggle in that period when it was not possible to talk today about the Rojava revolution. That first bullet paved the way for the launch of the Rojava revolution today. There are now hundreds of young leaders who follow the footsteps of the martyr Agid. These young people are the ones who made the Rojava revolution on the path of the martyr, Agid. They are the ones who liberated Shingal from ISIS mercenaries. The Rojava revolution was achieved based on the great goals set by the Leader Apo. The August 15 leap was the beginning of achieving those goals."

It opened the way for the struggle for women's freedom. Dozens of women leaders such as Zilan and Birtan sacrificed their lives for the freedom of women. With the start of the Rojava revolution, Arab women also participated with great effectiveness in the struggle. We must adhere to the thought of Apo for women's freedom."
