Ibrahim Mohamed: Kurdo-Arab relations guarantee for region security

Kurdo –Arab relations go very deep in history where both peoples defended the region against external powers most notably the defence against Crusades in the era of Saladin and against the Ottomans on the one hand and from another, cultural and historical ties between Arabs and Kurds indicate in a way and another a kind of coexistence.

In this relation, Co-chair of the Relations Committee in the Democratic Civil Administration in Tabqa Ibrahim Mohamed laid stress on the importance of Kurdo-Arab relations as a guarantee to the security of the region, '' leader Abdulla Ocalan shed light on the importance of strengthening ties between all components of the region via the democratic nation idea that lay stress the significance of each component as an alternative to the nation state that adopts one flag, one language and one culture''.

Mohamed hailed greatly the July Revolution in strengthening relations between components in the region '' with the July Revolution the idea expanded to other NES areas. Since the emergence of nation states and between WWI and WWII all dictatorial regimes disregarded the Kurds as a main component as an ally to the Arabs.

Repressive Arab regimes did not only wronged the Kurds rather they tried to eradicate language and culture of Kurds trying as well to sow discord and sedition between Kurds and Arabs indicating ''these bids are still on-going up to date''. 

At the end, Mohamed called on the two peoples to more solidarity and complementarity, calling on authors, intellectuals, thinkers of both Arabs and Kurds to draw the future of this region and to define surrounding dangers.
