On August 1, the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries from the Sultan Murad faction launched an attack on the areas of Tal Tamr and Zarkan, and the fighters of the Tal Tamr Military Council responded, and the attack was thwarted.

After the fighters of the Tal Tamr Military Council thwarted the Turkish attack and its mercenaries, two mercenaries from among the attacking group fled. They are Samir Nabil Biseilah, born in 2005, from the Ghuwairan neighborhood in the city of Hasaka, and Saad Khalif al-Muttalib, born in 2002, from the village of Mahkan in Deir ez-Zor.

The mercenaries, Samir and Saad, explained that the leader of the faction they sold to is among the notorious Sultan Murad Division's mercenaries, called Abu Muhammad al-Furati, from Deir ez-Zor.  He explained: "We get 400 Turkish liras, and the elements who go to the Rabat point (ie, a front line) receive 600 Turkish liras, so we went there."

The two mercenaries explained that the mercenaries of Sultan Murad launched an attack on the positions of the forces of the Tel Tamer Military Council, and the fighters of the council responded to the attack, and as a result of which clashes broke out, and they said: "We were afraid. In the early morning, we decided to return to Serêkaniyê, we contacted the faction leader Abu  Muhammad al-Furati, who was present in Ras al-Ain, but he insisted that we stay at the point, and after insistence, he informed us to return to Medina.”

The mercenaries Saad asserts: "After our insistence on returning to the city, one of the elements who were present at that point showed us the road, and assured us that the road leads to one of the main roads leading to the city of Ras al-Ain.  Sultan Murad's members, and no one will attack you, and we did not know that it was a point belonging to the Syrian Democratic Forces."

According to what the two mercenaries explained to our agency's correspondent, the main goal of sending them to the points of the Tel Tamer Military Council is to get rid of them because they refused to fight.

The report of the US State Department, published on June 1, entitled "Human Trafficking in 2021", revealed Turkey's inclusion in the list of countries involved in the use of child soldiers, and explained that: "Turkey provides tangible support" to the "Sultan Murad Division" in Syria.

And the mercenaries of the Sultan Murad Division is an armed group that was established in March 2013 by the intelligence, its headquarters in the Aleppo areas and receives support, funding, military training and air support from the Turkish occupation state, and its leaders in the first row are in Turkey, and the division is known for its bad reputation for the crimes it committed  against the Syrians, and it has recruited hundreds of mercenaries, including dozens of children, to fight alongside the Turkish-backed Government of National Accord against the Libyan army forces led by Khalifa Haftar.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights in a report published in 2020, "about 150 children between the ages of 16 and 18, the majority of whom are from the Sultan Murad Division, were recruited to fight in Libya through money temptation to fully exploit the difficult living situation and poverty cases."

And recently, dozens of media reports have been published, according to which the mercenaries of the Sultan Murad Division have recently begun to include children under the age of 18 in their ranks, forcibly training them in their camps and sending them to participate in some battles in northern and eastern Syria.
