New settlement project launched by collaborating Qatar and Kuwait in Azaz

In the series of demographic changes that the Turkish occupying state is pursuing within the occupied areas, especially in the occupied canton of Afrin, Turkey continues to build settlement complexes.

In the past few days, with the support of the so-called “Qatar Charity” and the Turkish IHH, Turkish officials, including the governor of Kilis (Recep Soy Turk) and his deputy (Omar Yilmaz) and those responsible for the offices of the so-called “Qatar Charity” (Yusef Al-Kuwari and the Turkish IHH Association headed by Bulent Yildirim, in addition to the local councils of mercenaries, are the cornerstone of the new settlement project east of Azaz city.

The name of the city of "Amal" was given to the settlement complex that is being constructed, 2,000 building units are supposed to be established, that housing more than 8,800 mercenaries, as well as to build two schools for the primary, preparatory and secondary levels that can accommodate 2,000 children of mercenaries, and a kindergarten that can accommodate 200 mercenaries' children. A health center, and the construction of a center for vocational education and training, in addition to a mosque, a children's garden and a popular market, at a cost of 7 million and 500 thousand US dollars.

The area on which the settlement is established is estimated at 280,000 square meters, in addition to the construction of each apartment at 50 square meters, some of which are on an area of 100 square metres.

According to the sources, the Turkish occupation and Qatari associations have established 13,000 housing units within the settlement complexes since 2019.

In the occupied canton of Afrin, the " BEYAZELLER Association", the so-called" International Charity for Development" and the Live in Dignity" association are close to completing the settlement complex project in Shadera village of Sherawa district in occupied Afrin, which was named Basma village.

It was scheduled to build 99 housing settlement units, while these associations proceeded to build apartments in them.

According to the sources, the Turkish occupation state, in cooperation with the organization that calls itself charitable names, affiliated with the states of Qatar and Kuwait, in addition to the Turkish Red Crescent, will continue to build settlement complexes in the occupied villages and districts of Afrin, which currently number more than 18 outposts, with the aim of changing the demographics Occupied Afrin and all areas occupied by Turkey in northern Syria.
