Kurdish intellectuals renew PDK's call to stop collusion with Turkish occupation state

Intellectuals repeated previous calls by the Kurds to the Kurdistan Democratic Party (PDK) to stop collusion with the occupying Turkish state, and stressed that national unity would enable the Kurds to cross to safety.

Since the 23rd April, the Turkish occupation state has continued an attack on the areas of Başûr (Southern Kurdistan). These attacks not only target specific areas, but have multiple sides and aim to occupy every inch of Kurdistan.

In this context, member of the Intellectuals Union in Girkê Legê district, Mustafa Mam Khair said that the Turkish occupation sees the freedom movement's struggle as a threat to its aggressive schemes: "Turkey, with the support of some Kurdish parties, seeks to foil the struggle and resistance of the Kurdistan Workers' Party, PKK to achieve all its plans and objectives.

Mam Khair confirmed: " Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) is a solution to solve the Kurdish issue, while Turkish occupation attacks on Southern Kurdistan are Turkey's last attempt to achieve its colonial ambitions and its intention to eradicate the Kurds, but this attempt will also end with the failure and defeat of Turkey."

People 's Defence Forces, HPG explained, through a statement to the public opinion, on July 29th, that communication with a group of its forces had been cut off since July 26th, and noted that they had obtained information from the people of the area, stating that the forces affiliated with the Kurdistan Democratic Party, KDP surrounded and attacked the group, which resulted in the martyrdom of 3 Guerilla Fighters.

 “They did not and will not reach their goals.” With this sentence, Mustafa Mam Khair emphasized that the KDP and the Turkish state would not be able to strike the resistance of the Guerilla Forces, stressing the need to struggle for the Kurdish cause and support the Guerrilla Resistance in its struggle against the attacks of the Turkish occupation.

In his turn, member of the Intellectuals Union in Girkê Legê district, Shaukat Muslim the extermination attacks by the Turkish army on Southern Kurdistan and linked them to Turkish crimes against NE, Syria, saying "Turkey repeats the same scenario of crimes against Kurds in general Kurdistan, where it began from Afrin to continue its colonial schemes throughout the region.

He appealed to the KDP to stop cooperating with the Turkish state to prevent any intra fighting, stressing that "the ranks must be united to block the way for Turkey to occupy more lands."
