Martyrs' families consider exhumation a crime of ISIS approach

In an interview with ANHA, Co-chair of the Martyrs' Families Council in Manbij, Rabie Ez El-Din, condemned the "continued Turkish crime against the areas of north and east Syria and its interference in Syrian affairs directly and indirectly."

He pointed out that the latest crime of the Turkish occupier in Afrin city "exceeded all human and moral values ​​by tampering with shrines of the martyrs who defeated terrorism from the region."

He added that "the Turkish state claims Islam and always carries out such inhuman and immoral acts that transgress all international values, principles, laws and norms."

Co-chair of the Martyrs' Families Council in Manbij called on the international community to form a legal committee to stop the practices of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries and the inhumane acts they commit in the occupied areas.

Turkey is following the ISIS approach

For his part, Member of the Martyrs' Families Council in Manbij, Mohamed al-Sheikh, pointed to the sanctity of graves and said, "Humanly, cemeteries have sanctities that cannot be tampered with, and this work (exhuming the martyrs' shrine) is close to ISIS acts in the past, and now Turkey is taking the same approach."

He added, "We condemn and denounce the actions of the Turkish occupation and its sabotage of shrines of the martyrs who resisted the Turkish invasion during the occupation of the Syrian Afrin city."

Mohamed al-Sheikh concluded his speech by saying, "The martyrs are sacred, and they sacrificed their blood so that we might live, but the Turkish state does not like that, so it always desecrates the sanctities and sacrifices of free and struggling people."
