Aldar Khalil: We not to be party to conflicting external forces in Syria

Aldar Khalil confirmed that in order to support and strengthen the Autonomous Administration, elections will be held in the near future, and that at the same time they are ready for dialogue with the Damascus government, and that they will not be a party to any external forces present in Syria, such as Iran and America. He said: "If the Kurdistan Democratic Party (PDK) participates with the Turkish occupation in its attacks on Guerilla, we will not stand idly by."

The speech of Member of the Co-chairmanship of the Democratic Union Party, Aldar Khalil, came during a speech he gave today at the celebration organized in Qamishlo city on the occasion of the ninth anniversary of the July 19^th Revolution.

In the beginning, Aldar Khalil congratulated the anniversary of the July 19^th Revolution on all the peoples of the region and the martyrs' families, saying, "The July 19^th Revolution represents the reality of the revolution, and it was launched on the basis of giving freedom to all peoples and components. It is a revolution of women's will and freedom, and carried in its content the spirit of peoples' fraternity."

He continued, "With the solidarity of the peoples of north and east Syria, we were able to achieve important gains for our revolution, and we proved that the July 19^th Revolution is the revolution of peoples' freedom, so we must all continue the struggle to protect our revolution's gains and guarantee our people's freedom."

Khalil pointed out that the July 19^th Revolution has been always attacked, especially by the Turkish occupation, and that with its brutality it occupied Afrin, Serekaniye, Gire Spi and others, and said, "On the ninth anniversary of the July 19^th Revolution, we assure all our people that we will not calm down until all the occupied territories are liberated. With our struggle and resistance, we will win, and together we will show the world that our revolution is an example of resistance and struggle against occupation and terrorism."

Addressing the Syrian situation, Khalil said, "There are external, regional and international forces present on the territory of the region for their personal interests, and there is a conflict between them, but we will not become part of this conflict and we will not stand by any of them, neither Iran, nor America, nor the Damascus government, but in order to ensure the protection and freedom of our people, we will always be ready for everything."

Aldar Khalil stressed that the Autonomous Administration is the only solution to the Syrian crisis, and indicated that with the aim of supporting, strengthening and developing the Autonomous Administration, elections will be held in the near future.

Regarding their position on the dialogue with the Damascus government, Khalil said, "The solution to the Syrian crisis comes through political dialogue, and the Autonomous Administration is always ready to sit with the Damascus government to solve the Syrian crisis," stressing the need for all the peoples and components of the region to rally around the Autonomous Administration to be able to achieve its goals.

On the Kurdish issue, Khalil touched on the ongoing Turkish occupation attacks on Başûr (Southern Kurdistan), and the PDK complicity with it, and said, "In conjunction with the Turkish occupation’s continuous attacks on Başûr Kurdistan and the People's Defense Forces, there is cooperation by the PDK with Turkey, but if PDK participates in the attack on the Guerilla forces, we in Rojava will not stand idly by, and Rojava will have a strict stance against any Kurdish forces that unite with the enemy. We will stand in their face to protect our martyrs' gains."

At the conclusion of his speech, Aldar Khalil called on all Kurdish forces and parties not to be drawn into the schemes of the Kurds' enemies.
