SDF: 10 elements of ISIS cells arrested in Deir ez-Zor

Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces said, "the campaign, which came in response to the call of the people and dignitaries of the region, following an increase in the activity of terrorist cells, included the villages of Al-Jeneina and Al-Hussan and the surrounding hamlets."

It added: "in the campaign, Deir ez-Zor Military Council and Anti-Terror Units arrested ten mercenaries who were hiding in populated areas, and seized a quantity of weapons in their possession as follows:

7 Kalashnikov weapons

6 Kalashnikov ammo quivers

32 Kalashnikov weapons stores and six boxes of ammunition

Pistol with 8 silencers

18 pistol ammo packs

12 automatic rifles

2 daggers and one sword

The statement conclude: "The Syrian Democratic Forces affirm their determination to root out terrorist cells and rid the region of their threats and criminal activities, and call on all citizens to cooperate more with the competent agencies in order to maintain security and stability and achieve development in all fields, foremost of which are service, social and economic ones."
