Patrol 51st carried out by Russian police and Turkish occupation in Darbassiye

Today joint patrol number 51st was carried out by the Russian Military Police and the Turkish occupation forces in a number of villages in western Darbassiye city.

The joint patrol that was made up of four military vehicles each side in addition to two Russian helicopters set off from the Sherik military gap some 13 km in western Darbassiye city in the Hasaka Canton in the Jazira Region passed through Sherik, Delilik, Bir Kines, Qiran, Aliya, Ibrahimiye, Feqira and Kisra all on the border.

The patrol then returned to the starting point on which Russian Military Police returned to the Tal Tamr Base while vehicles of the Turkish occupation forces returned to Turkish territories.

Carrying out these patrols by the Russian Military Police and the Turkish occupation forces run in line with Sochi Understanding agreed upon by the Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyb Erdogan on October 22nd 2019.
