Syrian government forces shell rural Hama and Idlib

Syrian government forces continue to bombard Turkish mercenaries' positions in the so-called "De-escalation zone'', as they targeted today countrisides of both Hama and Idlib with heavy artillery.

Syrian government forces bombarded with heavy artillery the villages of Hmeimat and Qastoun in al-Ghab Plain in northwestern Hama, causing casualties among the citizens and great damage.

In addition, at night and early hours of today, artillery shells fell on the villages of al-Sarmaniyah and al-Ziyara in northwestern Hama, and Kansafra and al-Fatirah, and posts in Jabal al-Zawiya in Idlib countryside, without information about casualties.

Yesterday, Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the SOHR, documented the death of a citizen as a result of missile shelling carried out by Damascus government forces, on the outskirts of the town of al-Bara in Jabal al-Zawiya in the southern countryside of Idlib as rocket shells fired by Syrian government forces fell on areas in Duqmaq in al-Ghab Plain, northwest of Hama, and Marayan and the outskirts of al-Bara, Felifel and Benin in Jabal al-Zawiya in southern Idlib.
