​​​​​​​PYD: What Southern Kurdistan's counter-terrorism published reflects its reality

Today, the General Council of the Democratic Union Party issued a statement to the public opinion about what was published by the so-called anti-terror forces in the Southern Kurdistan Region, accusing the party of killing the so-called Amin Issa, noting that it was a hostile statement that distorted the truth.

The text of the statement said,

 "At a time when the Autonomous Administration and our party’s representatives were arrested in Erbil by the intelligence of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, without getting known about their fate yet, the so-called anti-terror forces in the Kurdistan Region published a hostile statement against our party that is a distortion of the truth.

The Democratic Union Party is a party that has been subjected to violence, torture and arrests, and it has defended the dignity of the Kurdish human being against any insult and any attack. It sacrificed dozens of martyrs to oppose injustice.

We, the Democratic Union Party, condemn and denounce this hostile language. The immoral and non-valued terms and expressions against our party reflect the truth of that institution. This language only serves the enemies of our people, with the hidden hatred it contains.

We assure our people that the Democratic Union Party will resist and struggle against all kinds of strife and hostility among the Kurdish people, and it will remain linked to the martyrs' and our people's values, preserving them with all strength.
