MIT -mercenaries kidnap 5 Afrinians

The Turkish occupation continues to abduct the inhabitants of the occupied canton in order to impose severe besiege on them, forcing the remaining indigenous people to displace and replace them with the mercenaries' families and those from other areas, in a step that will consolidate demographic change.

On June 29th, the mercenaries of the so-called "Military Police" abducted citizen Mohammed Rasho, 35, from the village of Darwish of the  Shera district, from the centre of the occupied city of Afrin, and took him to an unknown destination.

A source from the Rajo district of occupied Afrin reported that mercenaries of the so-called "Al-Hamzat Division" kidnapped two elderly people from the village of Koliat Tahtani, took them to an unknown destination, and demanded a ransom for their release.

According to the same source, the elderly are "Khalil Ibrahim Bilal (65 years old) and Mustafa Mohammad Yusuf (60 years old)."

The source indicated that the mercenaries of "Al-Hamzat" had earlier kidnapped the citizen Ali Mohammad Aref from the same village, for a period of ten days, subjected to the most horrific forms of torture in the prison (Maarateh) in occupied Afrin.

The source noted that the mercenary groups had imposed large sums of money on the kidnapped 's relatives in exchange for his release.

Another source said that on the 28th of last June, Turkish intelligence kidnapped lawyer Rashid Kakaj Mohammad from the village of Qizilpasha, belonging to the Bulbul district in occupied Afrin.

According to the source, Rashid Kakaj Mohammad was a member of the so-called Independent Kurd Association formed by the Turkish occupation, headed by mercenaries Abdul Aziz Tamo.
