AANES uncovers cause of death of young Amin Issa

The statement issued by the Justice and Reform Center in the Autonomous Administration stated the following:

Clarification regarding the death that occurred at the Rehabilitation and Empowering Center in Hasaka (Ghweran) for the accused, Amin Issa Ali, who was arrested on 05-22-2021 on charges of paying bribes. An official arrest warrant had been issued against him issued by the competent authorities in accordance with the rules. /6/2021 A report was received from the administration of the center in the Ghwairan neighborhood in Hasakah that a death occurred, and thus all necessary measures were taken and the body was transferred to the A Hospital in force to examine the body and inform all the concerned authorities from the Public Prosecution and the forensic doctor and after the examination and question from the members who accompanied the car the ambulance that accompanied the deceased, it became clear to the prosecution that the deceased was arrested on charges of corruption and bribery and that the deceased was suffering from previous health problems. The medicines that the people of the deceased brought to the center were taken according to the attached doctor’s prescriptions, and by examining the body it was found that there were no traces of violence, severity and torture and that the cause of death was a stroke caused by arterial tension, according to medical reports. The family of the late, including his brother, was invited, and they were informed in a fundamental manner, and they were also informed by the competent authorities that if there were doubts about the medical reports that the family can name five doctors before them in order to examine the body and find out the causes of death. But the body was received and buried by the family without any medical examination.

We in the Office of Justice and Reform Affairs were surprised by the information about the death case in violation of the truth and reality. Pictures were published that contradict human values ​​and principles and distort the truth. And that the pictures that were published did not belong to the body of the late, but rather were edited on Photoshop.

And that the medical documents and reports refute these baseless allegations. We affirm that the purpose of these allegations is nothing but to create sedition and distort the image of the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, so we assure the public opinion that what was circulated through social media sites and channels of incitement is baseless and contrary to morals and the profession of media.

We extend our deepest condolences to the family of the late, and we assure the public opinion and our people that we are connected to the principles of justice and that all that has been mentioned is false. And that we will form a committee to investigate this case in order to investigate the condition of the body before delivery and after it was received by the family. Those responsible will be referred to the judiciary in the event of any violations that have occurred.
