Sheikh Sa'id of Palu remembered as unity urged   

Today a statement was released by the Muslim Community of Kurdistan marking the day of the hanging to death of Sheikh Sa'id of Palu and his comrades on 29 June 1925.

''our forefathers fought to save their country and society, and today their descendants are unprecedentedly are fighting Kemalists and occupiers in the four parts of Kurdistan to bring into reality their forefathers aspirations.      

Your descendants are well strong to meet your aspirations, if they make unity a mere reality instead of saying 'Kurdistan has being interred here' we would write 'savage and immoral occupiers are being interred here'.

if your descendants were able to unify their efforts then occupiers as well as colonialists would be removed from the sacred lands of Kurdistan once for all, and Kurdistan lands won’t be traced by any dirty shoes of Kurds' enemies''.  

Your shrines would be renovated and the your and martyrs' legacy would be observed forever, in your personage we call into mind all freedom seeking martyrs to whom we bow in deference''. 

Worth to note, in 1925 Sheikh Sa'id of Palu led a revolution against the adopted policy of Turkification and arbitrariness by the Turkish State that ended up in the hanging to death of the Sheikh and his comrades on 29 June 1925.
