Qassas: Syrian Coalition continues its shameful role in being follower and practices mercenaryism for Turkey

The Syrian dissident, Firas Qassas, considered the so-called "coalition"'s call for Turkey to occupy Syrian regions as a position that was not alien to its disgraceful role in practicing tyranny for Turkey, which it did on many occasions. He pointed out that the national will record this for future generations, stressing that its members have become "zeroes to the left of the active numbers and their statements are worthless."

The so-called Syrian coalition, which is based in Istanbul, continues its role in servicing Turkey and making pretexts for it by occupying further Syrian regions.

A few days ago, after the bombing that targeted civilians in Afrin, Nasr al-Hariri, the head of the so-called coalition, called on the Turkish state to occupy new Syrian areas.

In response, the Syrian Democratic Council issued a statement in which it said: "The coalition criminals worked at all levels of decadence, and expressed their bankruptcy with great rudeness. As the meeting between Biden - Erdogan approached, and they began to offend the project by tampering with the security of civilians, as their crime came this time by targeting a hospital in Afrin and the massacre of innocent civilians, and accusing the SDF in conjunction with the coalition representatives’ demand for their masters to occupy more Syrian lands, the performance was ridiculous within a poor play and a fragile plan that did not deceive anyone.

'No strange positions'

In this context, the dissident and head of the Modernity and Democracy Party for Syria, Firas Qassas, said: "The coalition's recent call for Turkey to occupy new Syrian regions was not a continuation of the treason path, and it promised according to all the semantic loads related to that single only, but rather an organic departure from all the meanings of the national interest that bind the Syrians. It strips them of their identity and belonging to Syria.”

He explained that the recent position of the so-called coalition "was not strange about its naked role in acting the follower and practicing mercenaryism for Turkey, which it has always practiced on many occasions, because its structure, composition and geographical environment do not allow it to be weighed from this role. What could one expects from them, the majority of whom were for a time, were either security and government officials or Baathists and local security agents of the regime ready to sell themselves and their families to every buyer on every occasion and every way, or opponents who, in the vast majority, belong to the same knowledge, political and sometimes ideological line that produced the tyrannical Assad regime.

'National history will be recorded for future generations'

Qassas dubbed the coalition as “dissidents who have never practiced democracy. They did not talk about it in their literature until belatedly, begging for it in the battle for dominance with their adversary, who alone possessed the effects of force and its tools in the state and society, not believing in it at all. Now, and it is alien to their organizational upbringing, their political heritage, their ideological logic, and even their personal structure and behavior patterns."

Qassas stressed, "For all of the above, I do not find that the coalition's calls came surprising or out of context in the coalition's behavior. They were not the first and will not be the last, but I am sure that the national history of our country is preserved in its files and recorded for future generations, how a group of those who claimed revolution against tyranny were just petty agents or just failed tyrants who did not practice tyranny on a large scale because they did not possess any of the tools and possibilities for its material practice, and that these are nothing but representatives of shame, disgrace, downfall and the forces of counter-revolution.

'They have no value... Zeros to the left of the active numbers'

Qassas explained that "in the end, these people have no value for their treacherous statements and calls, because they are nothing but zeros to the left of the active numbers, which underestimate the value of the weights and numbers that stick to them and do not provide any benefit."

Qassas put two reasons for this first, "because the international forces active in the Syrian issue are well aware of the value of those, the value of their coalition and its mercenary roles.

And secondly, "because in light of the new international equation, as I most likely, Turkey cannot launch a new war and is unable to continue its aggressive and criminal policy against the Autonomous Administration's areas and against the Syrian components in them, which have taken upon themselves the task of building a democratic society and democratic modernity."
