Kurdish clans: Kurdish forces must direct their bullets to occupation instead of their siblings

Kurdish clans' notables called the KDP not to be drawn towards occupation and to work for Kurdish unity, demanding that the various Kurdish forces direct their bullets to the Turkish occupation instead of their Kurd brothers.

For nearly two months, the Turkish occupation has been carrying out attacks on legitimate defense zones in Başûr (Southern Kurdistan) using various types of weapons even internationally forbidden, in an effort to exterminate the Kurdish people, with the support of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.

Kurdish street reactions to KRG 's complicity with the Turkish ccupation are escalating.

Hawar news agency ANHA interviewed with number of the Kurdish clans' notables to talk about their positions on the events taking place Başûr (Southern Kurdistan).

Mohammad Tahir, one of the notable of Omeryan clan, said:" For months two months now, Turkish occupation has been carrying out attacks against Guerilla Forces with its heavy weapons, warplanes and prohibited, amidst considerable resistance by these forces."

Guerilla resistance forced the occupation to seek support from KRG.

Tahir added, "We believe that the Turkish occupation is asking for the support of the forces of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, as a result of the great resistance of Guerilla Forces, so we send our message to the officials of the KRG in general, and Masood Barzani in particular, and we call on them not to be drawn behind Turkish policies that attempt to create intra Kurdish fighting."

He stressed that "KRG should know very well that the Turkish occupation state is the foremost enemy of Kurds. If it ends the Kurdistan Liberation Movement, its next goal will be to end the existence of the Kurdistan region, so that our Kurdish forces wherever they find their bullets to their first enemy, the Turkish occupation."

'We hope that the KRG will unite with their brothers and protect them from attacks.'
For his part, Hassan Tiyo, one of the notables of the Kurdish Barafi clan, said, "The Kurdish people have gone through many massacres throughout history, and today we see that there are those who are trying to create a strife between the Kurdish forces, such as the Turkish state that is fighting the Kurds in all parts of Kurdistan, not just Guerilla Forces, so we must be vigilant towards its schemes."

He concluded by saying: "We hope that Masood Barzani's attitude towards Kurdish movements will be positive, that the Kurds will be brought to national unity, and we call on him to protect the Kurdish people wherever they are."
