Al-Hasakah residents demand international community intervention to stop Turkish occupation’s barbarity

The demonstrators gathered at the Mufti Bridge in the Tel Hajar neighborhood, carrying the flags of the People's Protection Units, the Women's Protection Units and Star Congress, and then proceeded to a demonstration, chanting slogans saluting the Guerrilla resistance and denouncing the Turkish occupation.

Upon their arrival at the Martyr Sarhad roundabout, they stood for a minute of silence, followed by a speech by the Co-chair of al-Hasaka Canton Council, Samar Al-Abdullah, she said, "The Turkish state, represented by the Justice and Development Government, and since the beginning of the revolution in Syria, has played the largest role in spreading destruction and devastation in the region.

Samar Al-Abdullah added: "The Turkish occupation resorted to igniting sedition in the mountains of Kurdistan, and attacked areas of Southern Kurdistan, especially Makhmour camp, in which civilians fleeing the oppression of the Turkish state reside."

At the end of her speech, Samar Al-Abdullah denounced the practices and policies of the Turkish state, and called on the international community to confront the barbaric and bloody Justice and Development Government, which poses a threat to all the peoples of the Middle East.

The demonstration ended with chanting slogans that salute the Guerrilla resistance and condemn the Turkish occupation.
