The Media Center of the People's Defense Forces issued a statement regarding the operations carried out by the Guerrilla fighters against the Turkish occupation army, and also revealed the outcome of the occupation army's attacks and movements against the Guerrilla forces in the legitimate defense zones in Başûr Kurdistan.

Within the framework of the Revolutionary Zagros Hawks Campaign in Xakurk, our fighters carried out the following qualitative operations:

At approximately 05:20 on June 16th, Guerilla fighters carried out a specific operation against the occupiers in the Martyr Beritan area in Kurdina Hill. The trench in which the enemy soldiers were stationed was targeted, killing 3 soldiers and destroying the trench completely, and then the camera that the enemy concentrated over the hill was targeted and destroyed as well.

In the context of the Revolutionary Xabur Resistance Campaign in Metina area:

On June 14th at 12:40 am in the Kiste area, Guerrilla fighters carried out a qualitative operation against the occupiers who wanted to settle in the war tunnels, which resulted in the killing of a Turkish soldier and wounding another.

On June 16th, Guerrilla fighters targeted the Turkish occupation soldiers while they were trying to install a radar system in the Metina Strait, which resulted in the killing of a Turkish soldier and the injury of another.

Within the framework of the Revolutionary Zagros Hawks Campaign in Avaşîn area of the legitimate defense zones:

At 03:40 am on June 16th, Guerrilla fighters took control of the Turkish occupation soldiers in Kani Ghay, and carried out a qualitative operation against them, which resulted in the killing of two soldiers of the Turkish occupation army.

Helicopters hovered over Avaşîn, Metina and Zap areas and bombed them with helicopters and mortars through the border outposts.

The detailed information about the attacks is as follows:

On June 16th between 9:00 and 00:00, helicopters flewover the areas of Mam Resho, Mervanos, Suleiman Hill, Spî Hill and Banista. The invaders in this area were replaced by helicopters. At approximately 12:00 midnight, Sor Hill and Martyr Intiqam Hill were bombed by Turkish war helicopters.

On June 16th between 21:00 and 23:00, a helicopter crashed in Metina area of ​​the Martyr Çia Hill area and the Melitan Strait.

On June 16th between 22:30 and 00:30, helicopters flew over Çilo al-Saghir area of Zap.
