The statement was read by Latifa Hajji, and the text of the statement read as follows:

"Through these attacks, the Turkish state and its allies seek to eliminate the Kurdish people, erase their identity and cut the way for the revolting peoples who yearn for freedom and the heroic epic of the Peoples' Defense Forces against Turkish fascism."

The statement added: "The Turkish state, through its allies, is trying to create strife in the region and ignite Kurdish-Kurdish infighting through its private war. Therefore, it is necessary to stand united in the face of the betrayal committed against our people and to follow in the footsteps of our martyrs who were martyred in order to defend the values of all humanity."

At the end of the statement, it affirmed: "We will not allow the occupying Turkish state to occupy the region. We renew our pledge to the martyrs and our forces until victory over Turkish fascism is achieved."
