Kobane Guerrilla mothers show support to son's resistance in Medya

Since the 23^rd of last April, the legitimate defense zones have been being attacked by the Turkish occupation army with the aim of breaking the Kurdish people's will represented by the Guerrilla forces.

In support of the Guerrilla resistance in the face of these attacks, the Guerrilla mothers, in coordination with the Kongra Star, issued a statement that was read by the Member of the Kongra Star in Kobane, Rozef Bashri, and the text of the statement included:

  "We, the Guerrilla's mothers, condemn and denounce the attacks launched on Kurdistan Mountains by the Turkish occupation. Our sons went to the mountains in order to fight the injustice and occupation against our Kurdish people."

The statement affirmed: "Our people are not alone, they are on the way to freedom and dignity, and we do not want them to martyr. Therefore, we call on the human conscience and the mothers of the Kurds in general to stand with us in order to extinguish this fire."

In its conclusion, the statement denounced "the isolation imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan and the international silence about what is happening in Kurdistan Mountains in terms of violations against civilians; the destruction and burning of homes as a result of the indiscriminate shelling by the Turkish occupation army's artillery."
