The Turkish occupation's attack on Başûr Kurdistan threatens civil and regional peace, amid the absence of a clear position on the governments of Iraq and Başûr Kurdistan, which paved the way for a new Turkish occupation of Başûr Kurdistan and other parts of Iraqi lands.

Kurdish politician Zubair Ayydar affirmed that the Turkish attacks on Başûr Kurdistan are a continuation of the policies aimed at exterminating other components, citing the genocide committed by the Turkish occupation throughout history, and he said: “Everyone should realize this reality of Turkey, and strive to unify efforts to thwart its plans.”
