Despite repeated appeals by the Autonomous Administration which insists that the file of ISIS and its families in the camps must be resolved under an international umbrella, (the Administration) did not recieve any answer or solution to this file, and all the data indicate that the countries that have nationals in north and east Syria are not determined to repatriate them, leaving the burden of  their responsibility on the Autonomous Administration.

The Administrator in the Democratic Union Party, Fadel Al-Hussein, explained that the ISIS file in the areas of north and east Syria is a thorny file and that it must be taken very seriously by the international community and international human rights organizations.

Al-Hussein attributed this to the fact that these mercenaries "pose a real threat to the region because of their takfiri jihadist ideology, in addition to the great burden that the presence of mercenaries in prisons and their families in the camps places on the shoulders of the Autonomous Administration."

Al-Hussein noted that "for more than 4 years, these mercenaries and their families have been present on the lands of north and east Syria in camps and prisons, and we have not found a real step by any country to get back its citizens or establish a fair court under an international umbrella to try them on the lands of the Autonomous Administration."

He pointed out that, "We always call on the governments of the countries of the world to return back their nationals and try them on their lands according to the laws and constitutions of their countries, and this reduces the military, political and economic burden on us."

Al-Hussein concluded his speech, calling on countries that have citizens in north and east Syria to repatriate them and bring them to the courts to receive their fair panalty, and not only send delegations and talk about the conditions in which mercenaries live.

It is noteworthy that the Syrian Democratic Forces have been demanding from the very beginning to declare victory over ISIS mercenaries in their last stronghold (Al-Baghouz) in 2019, and it is demanding the repatriation of the mercenaries to their countries.
