In a statement, On Wednesday, which we received a copy of, the Union explained that "these attacks daily affect the villages of our Assyrian Chalcedonian people in the areas of their war operations in northern Iraq under the pretext of fighting terrorism. These criminal attacks, during which Turkey uses all kinds of heavy weapons, including aircraft, rockets and other NATO weapons, result in the displacement, exodus, and killing of the remaining people by Turkey who were subjected to the most heinous kind of ethnic extermination with other people in 1915.

The Union "called upon regional parties, in particular neighboring States, to resolve their differences within their geographical boundaries, to strengthen the culture of dialogue and recognition of pluralism, to consolidate the rights of people in their constitutions and to establish a culture of dialogue, development, democracy, community justice and peace in the region. Because the policies of war, denial, repression, murder, displacement and massacres have proved unsuccessful in resolving disputes and conflicts and have increased hatred, underdevelopment and extremism among peoples and components of the single State. "

Beth Nahrain Patriotic Union confirmed that it stands by "oppressed people and the defense of their rights, in particular the rights of our Assyrian-Chaldean Syriac people, who, most of all, are pushing the vainest wars of exclusion, murder, massacres, displacement and demographic change in their historic lands because of regional and international interests, lack of accountability and lack of human justice."
