SDC: We hope this Eid brings end of tragedies and devastation

This came in a telegram by the Syrian Democratic Council on Eid Al-Fitr, which falls on Thursday.

The text of the congratulatory message:

On the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Fitr, we extend our warmest congratulations and blessings to the Muslims of Syria and the whole of the Islamic world, and we offer our warmest congratulations to the families of the martyrs, as we owe our lives and our freedom to our righteous martyrs who will remain our cherished forever.

We also congratulate our daughters and sons in the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Internal Security Forces, who are watching with utmost courage to protect the security of the region and the lives and property of the citizens in North and East Syria, and send messages of reassurance and safety to our people.

We ask God Almighty to accept all Muslims fasting and exercise during the blessed month of Ramadan, and may this Eid bring an end to all tragedies and devastations and to open the gates of stability and peace in our dear country, Syria.
