Women: AA project represents the democratic approach; must be recognized

Women members of Civil Institutions in Ad-Darbasiaya district stressed that the Autonomous Administration project represented a democratic approach by relying on the peoples of the region for their management, and said that there was no compelling reason not to recognize it internationally.

The project of Democratic Autonomous Administration in north eastern Syria embodied the hopes of the people of the region for security, stability and coexistence, after decades of injustice and oppression, politically and administratively, it is also a model for resolving the Syrian crisis in general

The women in this project had proven their pioneer role in aspects of establishing and management and consolidating Democratic Autonomous Administration at various levels.

In statements of Hawar news agency ANHA, women members of Civil Institutions in Ad-Darbasiaya district stressed the need to recognize and support AANES.

The co-chair of People's Municipality in Ad-Darbasiya district, Razia Ibrahim said "The region had suffered from authoritarian regimes and restrictions on freedoms, especially women, before 2012, but with the establishment of DAA, women had made a significant contribution to changing the shape and content of the region. They had made great strides and opened the way for them and demonstrated to the world their skills, potential and will, which had been evident in AANES institutions."

Razia explained that the main reason why Autonomous Administration has not yet been recognized is "the fear of Capitalist States of the idea of the spread of the system of Autonomous Administration in their States, which directly threatens them with collapse and exclusion, that the project of Autonomous Administration is based on brotherhood of peoples, social justice and coexistence."

'There's no reason why AA should not be recognized '

The Administrator of the Kongra Star, Zandan Hasso, said that the international community did not recognize DAA despite the fact that its experience on the ground had proved successful.

She continued: "Until now, there is no compelling reason not to recognize the AA that has made significant gains at home and abroad, other than the fear of these forces for their internal interests and systems, and of the idea of organizing the people themselves.

Zandan Hasso stressed the need for formal recognition of DAA by the international community: "It was the only force that was able to fight ISIS/ Daesh, maintain the security and security of all components of the region and give women a wide range of freedom in all fields, the clearest evidence is the co-presidency."

AA is the only solution to the crisis'

In her turn, the Deputy co-chair of Ad-Darbasiya District Council, Adla Musto, asked why the international powers had not yet recognized AA. She said: "DAA depends on the people of the region for their management and on the brotherhood of the peoples."

The AA project was the only solution to the crisis in Syria and the Middle East in general, and it represented a democratic approach. and that anyone can exercise his freedom and belief and find himself in the AA project.
