Our correspondent stated that the Palestinian factions launched a rocket-propelled grenade this morning, at the Israeli town of Sderot, on the eastern borders of the Gaza Strip, pointing out that this “came after the Israeli army’s attacks against Hamas sites at dawn today, following the launching of rocket-propelled grenades from the Strip towards towns and military sites near the Gaza Strip.”

The Israeli media reported that warning sirens sounded in the vicinity of Israeli towns and military sites near the Strip, this morning, after it rang out in other areas, yesterday evening, after shells were fired from Gaza.

Our correspondent pointed out that no human casualties were recorded as a result of the Israeli bombing of Gaza, or the shells fired from the Strip.

Relatedly, the Israeli army announced the complete closure of the Gaza Sea to the fishermen of the Strip and the closure of the "Erez" crossing in the northern Gaza Strip, following the escalation.

The field tension is increasing in Gaza, against the background of the events in the city of Jerusalem, and the expected confrontations following Israeli plans to storm the Al-Aqsa Mosque grounds to celebrate the Day of Control of Jerusalem.

In the same context, Palestinian injuries were recorded following sporadic clashes that erupted in different areas of Jerusalem, in addition to arrests of young men participating in the marches.
