PYNK: Kobane Case corroborates ISIS-Erdogan links

Turkish authorities declared in April last the trial of 108 members of the Peoples' Democratic Party, HDP, on charge of supporting Kobane Resistance on which a statement was released by PYNK stressing that such a prosecution is a continuation to the dissolution of the Kurdish political movement and attempts by both the AKP and the MHP to close offices of the Peoples' Democratic Party.

'' Turkey has set to put on trial 108 of the politicians and members of opposing the Peoples' Democratic Party of whom former co-chairs Selahattin Demirtaş and Figen Yüksekdağ in a new way adopted by Erdogan against opposition.

PYNK indicated that this prosecution comes in the aftermath of demonstrations commenced in coincidence with the ISIS onslaught carried out on the city of Kobane 20154, in solidarity with the city that was subject to siege and attack by the terrorist group that committed unaccountable massacres.

'' this illegal trial sets the close links between the Erdoganic regime and ISIS organization. As the city and resistance performed caught an international attention, more notably by the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS, the organizations used to be aided by Turkey waiting for the organization to control the city, now the it avenges the ISIS defeat in this way via a legislation dictated by its policies and regime.

The statement indicated that this comes at a time the HDP faces relentless campaigns of arrest and immunity lifts of it's MPs and deposing of elected municipal co-chairs replacing by others affiliated to Erdogan's party.

The prosecution also indicates to the extent Erdogan fears the HDP more specifically as his popularity of his party is on the decline as the Turkish oppositions gains more ground that deranges Erdogan and pushes his party to adopt new illegal approaches just to remain in power. 

We condemn strongly prosecution of those politicians and HDP members and the daily repressive campaigns carried out by AKP, we call on the international community to move against Erdogan that turned politics in Turkey into a jungle paying no respects to the international norms or laws.

'' the fierce attack adopted against HDP by the Erdoganic Regime may cover other opposition parties in the future, so these parties ought to stand up to Erdogan intransigence and his bids seeking to destroy opposition and democracy in Turkey''.
