HPG announce killing of 21 Turkish occupation soldiers

The People's Defense Forces issued a written statement about the operations carried out by their forces on April 27-28-29, in which they said: "Our forces in Zap, Metina and Avashin presented a great example of the Apojian resistance, and dealt powerful and successive blows to the Turkish occupation army, which resulted in killing 21 soldiers of the Turkish occupation, according to what has been documented."

The statement noted: "In exchange for the resistance and the strong operations carried out by our forces, the Turkish occupation army is bombing the legitimate defense zones with all kinds of technology and deliberately bombing the villages and areas of our people in Başûr Kurdistan. This bombing causes damage to the fields and orchards of the villagers, in addition to destroying the infrastructure of the region. Therefore, our people become the victim of the attacks during Ramadan, where three citizens lost their lives when they were trying to repair the area's electricity grid as a result of the explosion of a mine from the remnants of Saddam’s era. The only responsible for this incident is the Turkish occupation state."
