Yunis: PDK should clarify position

On April 23^rd, Zap, Metina and Avashine all came under attack by the Turkish Occupation Army, on this Co-chair of the Executive Council of the Jazira Canton Tal'at Yunis was interviewed by ANHA, who noted that all these moves and attacks carried out by the Turkish Occupation are part and parcel of the fascist mentality of the state, '' the attack aims to destroy all the gains made by the Kurdish people and at the same time is a continuation to the extermination policy adopted by the Turkish State against the Kurdish people to revive the late Ottoman Empire and to re-establish fascism anew, and to put an end to the geography of Kurdistan''.

'' these wide scale attacks cannot be carried out without the permission of the Iraqi Government and the KRG, if not so they ought to break their silence and say that these actions are occupation'', he said.

The aggression carried out lately affects the daily life of the Kurdish people in the region, and the silence preserved never serves the Kurdish interests, I repeat it again, this is a trio treaty amongst Turkey, Iraq and the KRG'', Yuns added.

Yunis went to say'' Kurdistan Democratic Party should know the schemes behind the attacks carried out by the fascist Turkish occupation state, this attack does not target Southern Kurdistan alone or Iraq, rather the aim is to strike peoples living there on which it should clarify it's stance and to call on the international powers to exit it from the areas it occupies and to put an end to it's extensionist aspirations, Turkey is an occupation state, PDK should know this''.

Tal'at Yunis indicated that occurrence of the attacks with the 106 annual anniversary of the Armenian Genocide has a message'' the Medya Self- Defence Zones were attacked by the fascist Turkish state sending a message that the massacres that were committed against Assyrians, Armenians and Syriacs  106 years ago are relentless via the exterminating the Kurdish people and that it seeks to revive it's aspirations in resuscitating the Ottoman Empire. Turkey poses threats to all more notably to the Kurds'', but in my opinion, neither the Turkish State nor dictatorships can do that in the 21^st century, all these attacks will fall to the ground more specifically in North Eastern Syria''.

The mentality adopted by the Turkish State is not different to that of the National Defence mercenaries and all bodies that target coexistence in North Eastern Syria and creating demographic change in occupied areas, all these share the same ideology'', he added.

At the end Yunis called on the Kurdish people to unify and all the peoples living in the region to stand up to the Turkish aspirations, as well as all intellectuals, artists, politicians, feminists and the friends of the Kurdish people to take a firm position against the mentality of the Turkish state of exterminating Kurds.
