Health Body warns against humanitarian COVID-19 catastrophe  

Health Body of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria has warned against an imminent humanitarian catastrophe due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 calling on people to cooperate with their cadres in fighting the pandemic.

In a press conference held by the Health Body in the Foreign Relations Department building of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria in the city of Qamishlo just a while ago, Co-chair of the Health Body warned against an imminent humanitarian catastrophe by the virus  unless kept controlled.

Joan Mustafa noted that there has been a surge in the toll of deaths and news registered cases and that the WHO has never provided them with any help up to date.

Mustafa called on the people to cooperate with the Internal Security Forces and the cadres of the health bodies and to abide by the taken measures to combat the pandemic in North Eastern Syria….
